Woodchuck 7/15

It’s hard to believe that we are onto Week 4. It seemed like just yesterday that we welcomed nearly 400 campers. Since the start of the summer, we have seen each and every camper grow, make friends, and step outside of their comfort zone.

We hope you received the video of the So You Think You Can Dance Talent Show! We were blown away by each group’s moves. From the Scouts to the Saxons to everyone in between, it was an unbelievable night. The Scribes capped it off with one of our beautiful traditions, the Scribe song.

Today, we sent several groups out of camp. The Squires had a tee time at the mini golf course this morning. 18 Bows and 6 Archers opted for a hike at scenic Mount Major. The Scouts, Tumblers, and Jesters spent the afternoon bowling! After dinner, the Foresters and Shires headed to Meredith for Despicable Me 4. Last, but not least, we surprised the Lancers and Arrows with an evening bowling trip.

In addition to the trips, our 13U boys basketball team won a BIG game at Camp Takajo. Meanwhile, the 11U boys soccer team won the tournament at Takajo as well! Great job boys.

In the Realm, activities were in full swing. The waterfront was full all day with waterskiing, paddle boarding, sailing, and swimming. We are so blessed to have the best beachfront on Lake Ossipee.

After yet another great, warm day, it’s time to say goodnight. Sweet dreams from The Realm.
